In the landscape of modern American politics, there have only been two Presidents that truly cared about the ordinary Americans who have always been the backbone of our nation. Coincidentally their terms were back to back. The first was Eisenhower, and the second was the short lived Presidency of JFK. A case for Reagan could be made, but he was far more principled as the California Governor; and then quickly became corporately corrupted while President. Essentially this nation went fifty plus years without a leader who actually cared about their own citizenry; that is until the unbelievable election of Donald J. Trump. As much as on the surface it sounds absurd, once you wipe away the orange, it really is the case. Is he a crass sexist blowhard billionaire? In a lot of ways, yes, yes he is. But, for all his faults he has always had a special reverence for the ordinary American; and the belief that anything is possible in this country--especially if we fix the outsourcing of jobs, and the killing of our young men in unjust wars. Two core beliefs of both Ike, and Kennedy. For Ike in his departing speech from the oval office, warned of the Military Industrial Complex* and Kennedy in his short tenure; dreamed big, and always aired on the side of peace.

Has there ever been a more simple and direct scorching condemnation of socialism, and collectivism? Policies that have always led to unrest, and war--two evils that always inevitably destroy the working class.
The power systems from the Military Industrial Complex, to our government security agencies in the FBI and CIA had JFK assassinated ushering in a politician who believed in nothing but public perception and power. Sound familiar? No? Well it should.
For the closest relative to LBJ’s rise in power is Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. Both politicians who have said and done anything to become the leader of the free world. Both men being cheered on by all the power brokers who hold sincere contempt for the filth of the ordinary American. The very racist and authoritarian beliefs of these men have been cleverly projected onto their political opposition, it worked in the 60’s and sixty years later, it’s working again. And, don’t think for a second if social media, and the 24/7 news media wasn’t around today, these same people wouldn't have attempted assassination on Trump as well. Too much transparency in this brave new world forced their hand into stealing a national election instead. Less bloody, less politically messy, and much easier to gaslight an entire nation into believing in the moral superiority in backing the most corporate, militaristically, CIA corrupted campaign since LBJ.
Now as I sit home on this beautiful Sunday morning of Nov. 8th, 2020 a day after the media prematurely called the race for Biden, although not one state is done counting ballots--I cannot help but be baffled by my most of my peers, and neighbors celebrating in the streets over this Biden victory. I live in a very liberal state, in a very liberal town, rooted in the arts, music, and restaurant scene--and one would think the people I live by would be disgusted by a victory of two people that have made their career on corrupted criminal justice practices, Corporate American approval, and men like Dick Cheney who is already rumored to be a part of the Biden Administration. Dick Cheney?! Has the contemporary Democratic Party so successfully gaslighted my fellow Americans so cleverly that now Dick Cheney is considered better than a crass orange New Yorker who actually had solid traditional liberal working class American policies? Honestly if that is the case, it’s both equal parts appalling, and impressive.
If Biden does end up being proven that he won this fair and square, what’s equally grotesque to the cheering of his win, is how he went about getting here. For all you can say about Trump personally. He allowed every American institution and person to freely say whatever the hell they wanted about him, America, and their fellow citizens.
To the point of rioting, looting, and protesting in the last five months (That led to 32 murders, that we know about), and a 3 1/2 year media complicit propaganda scam job of Russian interference that was founded to be untrue, and still ended up in a grand standing impeachment.
Biden and The Biden Campaign before even entering the presidency used his, and their political power, influence, and money to coordinate the most egregious censorship of one of the largest newspapers on the planet, my personal favorite paper The New York Post. The Hunter Biden Story was clearly slimy, and dirty pool election politics; and if Biden truly made no money from Hunter’s corruption (coughbullshitcough) then clearly just a political smear job—-but not one time has any picture or piece of information found on the laptop been deemed to be untrue. In fact everything has been verified to the point that the FBI has been forced to investigate.
Our entire country this weekend is celebrating a man and political party that used fascist like censorship on the biggest and grandest scale not ever seen in a democracy. And, it will continue. We ushered in a highly coordinated effort of authoritarian censorship in the name of fighting for democracy. Disgusting.
My generation rejected the peace versus war philosophy, and the special and unique American individualistic politics of both Dwight D. Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy--and instead cried in relief with joy and opened their arms to embrace the war hawk, corporate controlled politics of the Bushes, Cheneys, and Clintons.
I have never been more dumbfounded and disappointed in my country all at the same time. It’s the first time in my entire life I am sad to be an American.
*No sitting President since Eisenhower has uttered the words “Military Industrial Complex” in public until Trump. He has denounced, and referenced it on my count at least twice, during two separate major network interviews. That alone, should raise support by any American who believes in peace, humanity, and wants to fight against the unfortunate American tradition of becoming rich on the dead backs of the American youth sent off to war. But, sure please continue with Orange Man-Hitler, and YAS Queen Kamala Harris.
