If you don’t believe in redemption for the worst of man, then you don’t believe in redemption at all.
If you think your sins are somehow more admirable than that of your foes, then you don’t understand sin.
For all the politicking we could do to showcase The Modern Leftist’s hypocrisies, and Un-American tendencies; I would like to take a moment and step aside from such temporary civic grievances; and state that my biggest issue with this new wave of belief is more of an eternal one. A short coming within their humanity.
The short coming? It’s a very dangerous one. For they not only lack, but actively refute the concept of forgiveness.
Never forget, that most, if not all of our heroes, from historical, to personal ones have sinned, and then have been forgiven. And, only because that this uniquely human concept of forgiveness was granted upon them; (which is directly connected to our once universal acceptance of humanity, and spirituality)-- they then were able to begin on a path of redemption. This very aforementioned path is what makes these individuals feel so deeply indebted to the beauty of our collective humanity, and start to see the good in everyone. An unflawed man does not exist, nor does a utopian hero; for if you start the search with those two impossible standards you will find a charlatan posing as a hero, and Hell as utopia.
Cue the Biden//Harris victory. A projected electoral victory that is not of healing. Nor of unity. But pure charlatanism. It was a vote, and is a victory for the total upending of the very unique, and special human condition that was bestowed upon us through our entire history as a country, redemption through freedom. For better and for worse, and yet that is of no matter--The United States has been throughout her history quite possibly the closest human organizational concept that could clearly define both our natural, and spiritual freedoms. It has unfortunately caused injustices, but she always asked for forgiveness as a nation-- and the redemptions that followed were always greater than the historical stains. Ten fold.
We now have rewarded a philosophy, and a political machine more akin to every government that came before the Red, White, and Blue. That of monarchs, theocracies, and banana republics: for when the leaders have contempt for not only its common man, but it’s past, and also actively deny the tenets of first, forgiveness, and then redemption--freedom is all but lost.
...And the blood of every forgotten Patriot goes with it.
